Ann, it still looks a little wintery there but at least one butterfly is out and about! Hopefully, soon he'll be joined by many more!
Maybe that is a sure sign for us to have a Big Spring! Thanks for the photo and have a wonderful week!
Silvia,
Yes, hopefully things will get green and beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
looks like a young artist nicely complimenting your local park...is the material cement and the wings copper? very nice.
Connie,
Spring is here finally. I tried to share this for about 45 minutes last night but my Internet provider was having big issues..;-(
You have a terrific week too!
Ann
Nice, Ann. Who is the artist and what is the medium?
Ann, that is one gigantic butterfly. Was he mutated in a lab?
That is so cool!
Awesome photo. I hope spring is just around the corner for us too. Have a great day.
That's one way to keep the butterflies around.
Ann - It looks gray and dreary. You should grab a paint brush and add some spring colors!
Thanks for warming me up a little bit with that picture, keeping my hopes up that spring will actually start springing soon here in NJ.
That IS a big butterfly!
Ann - That is a huge butterfly and great shot, thanks for sharing!
WOW great picture I like how that came out. Thank you for sharing your pictures with us. Where is this at I wonder?
Thank you,
Kim White
Ann I am surprise that members from Texas have not stopped by to claim that, that would be just a little guy down there ........... LOL
Hi Ann. That is an awesome butterfly,I guess you do grow them big down there! Thanks for sharing him/her today!
Michael,
It seems to be all concrete.
Ann
Ann,
That is one big butterfly, I wonder where it landed at?
Now my cats would love to chase that one! They've scared them out of my garden!
Maria,
The artist is St. Louis sculptor Bob Cassilly and the medium is 25,000 pounds of concrete.
Ann
Tony,
A lab? Maybe that is what they do at the Butterfly House.
Ann
Kat,
Thank you! I thought it was pretty cool too.
Ann
Karen,
Yes, I guess you are right. Winter makes them go away..;-(
Ann
Connie,
I hope we do not have another cold spell. My peach trees are starting to bloom.
Ann
John,
Yes, some color would be good.
Ann
David,
Rest assured..spring is going to come. Even Jack Frost cannot stop it.
Ann
Toula,
I think it is awesome!
Ann
Robert,
Next time I will put someone next to the butterfly. It is huge!
Thank you,
Ann
Kim,
This is at the Butterfly House in St. Louis Missouri. It is an awesome place to visit. Look for a blog about it in the future.
Ann
George,
I think they would have a tough time getting one bigger any where...;-)
Ann
Mary,
They do get very big here....
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
Don,
It landed in Faust Park...;-)
Ann
Patricia,
I am afraid the cats would not have much fun...
