Let's see...like a toilet..with many different currents or directions, or just plain scary!
What is it? I looked and thought I knew, but it is one of those pictures the more you look it turns out to be something else.
Gary,
This is a shot from the bridge while the water is high due to too much rain. It was a pretty scary shot. I am not a big fan of looking over the edge.
Ann
Debbie,
This is my version of the muddy waters of life. It is a shot from the bridge.
Nothing too deep here,
Ann
Guess that's the view when someones ready to jump? Then I noticed the question mark at the top of the water pattern.....
Pat,
Yes, that might be the perspective.... And the question mark, should I or shouldn't I?
Ann
A little current to it? LOL! Good shot.
Tim and Pam,
Just a little current to pull or push you along.. ;-)
Ann
gotta love wordless wednsedays. is this how the soggy bottom boys got their name?
That is a funny picture, what is it. some churning water or something?
Nice photo - Missouri? or Mississippi?
You are right it is!!!
Ann,
Muddy waters? Could also be churning waters or the currents of life. Interesting shot. :)
Steve
Hi Ann! Good photo, looks like the Mighty Mo when it was raging this spring
Ann, I would have had a hard time looking over that edge, too!
Debi
Cool photo. I could just imagine the powerful churning. The question mark was a mysterious touch, though I didn't see it at first, but went back for another look when one of the comments mentioned it.
I'm always afraid of dropping my camera when I take those types of shots!
Ann I have had more days then I would like that I felt like that :) :) :)
Ann,
It seems like this is what my days have been like for some time now.
Doug,
Hmm... maybe.
Ann
Morgan,
Yes, it is churning water after a huge rain. It was nearly out of the banks.
Ann
Hi Ann, it's good to have you back. I have been thinking about you and your family.
Looking over the edge of that can make you dizzy!!!!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Hello Ann! I'm pretty sure I would not have leaned over far enough to get this shot! Thanks for the bird's eye view from the safety of my computer, today! :-)
Hi Ann, I think that that picture represents all types of different things - scary, treacherous, unknowing, a washing machine, questionable, no real direction, deep, dangerous, too high, too wet...the list could go on and on....we can all view this shot quite differently. Thanks. Hope all is well!
Ryan,
It is the Meramec River... about a week ago.
Ann
Marchel,
Yes, sometimes things are muddy and a bit too much.
Ann
Steve,
Interesting and appropriate for the kind of week I have been having...;-)
Ann
Dona,
Yes, it could have been...but I would never have found a bridge to lean over the side of to take the shot...
Ann
Debi,
It was different standing on the bridge with cars going by...
Ann
Lydia,
My daughter got a kick out of me standing on the bridge and taking the picture...
Ann
Toula,
Yes, that can be a problem. This model has a strap that tightens.
Ann
George,
Yes, I have too. Time to get some spring shots...;-)
Ann
Don,
It is time to get out and see the grass getting green.... I love spring.
Ann
Hi Ann,
It is good to be back. I am taking it slow..
Ann
Charles,
Yes, it did make me a little dizzy.
Ann
Hey Mary,
You are welcome!
Ann
Hi Sandy,
Some how in all the commotion I had a closing today.
Life is crazy right now.
Ann
It reminded me of the scene in the Original version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The scene with the fat German boy falling into the chocolate river and getting sucked up by the tube.
Hi Ann, The muddy waters of life. OK. Now I get it. It reminded me of adding cream to the coffee!
Nelson,
I do not think I have ever watched that movie...
Ann
Marian,
It does sort of look like coffee...
Ann
