Ann,

Looks to me like you are exactly right on that statement.

Ann - this is a great photo!  Does it need new windows too? :) Mindy

Don't fool yourself. This property just needs a coat of paint. I have had buyers pay upwards of $25,000+ for barn boards.

David,

Please introduce me!  I know of several people who might be willing to part with those boards for that kind of money...

Cute old barn....

The foundation looks excellent. And people pay big bucks here for weathered barn board to put on their brand new houses. Go figure.

Actually that newer roof may well save the rest of this building.  It looks in very good condition and would make a great house. We built a large barn with a hay loft for our horses but i wouldn't mind living in the loft.

Hi Ann, I love old barns! There they stand neglected, abandoned ..built all by hand, long before power tools, machined nails, building permits and county inspectors!!  I think they're great.  so much history there.

Ann, I think every barn in America needs some work.

Ann,

Maybe a new roof, maybe just a little TLC. They sure knew how to build those barns. :)

Yes, some TLC would go a long way with this...
