Looks like a friendly pup. They like the snow.
Nice doggie...
Andrew,
They do seem to love the snow...
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
Diane,
Thank you for the compliment..
He was not easy to make. ;-)
Ann
These photos are so cute. You are a talented individual. Southerners don't have the luxury of building anything in the snow much, glad you took the opportunity.
Well! That little snow dog is cute as can be! Glad you are having some fun with all that stuff.
Wow! Ann!!! That is fantastic! I have never seen a snow dog, and yours is adorable! Thanks for the post!
Valerie,
I love to play in the snow... Driving in it is not the best though.
Thank you for your compliment. I have a photo of one we built when I was about 8 and this dog was much bigger than me. I can remember how fun and cold it was.. Fond memories of long ago.
Ann
Ann,
Thank you...he is a little smaller than I wanted but this snow is heavy and does not "roll" well. At least the sun is shining...;-)
Ann
Mary,
WHAT??? You have never seen a snow dog???? I can hardly believe it. When we get a big snow, we always make a dog.... He is so much cuter than most snowmen...LOL
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
Thanks for stopping by my blog Ann!
Did you make this? It's adorable, I just had my daughter come look at it. We had ice on Weds. and Dallas shuts down - no school for a day and a half - kids happy, mom....
Hi Ann, thanks for the pictures. Amazing things you Northerners can do with grits! :-)
Ann,
Nice sculpture, but you really didn't have to go to all that effort for us. :)
Steve
Hi Ann:
How cute is that! It's a Happy Snow Dog....
Karen,
Yes, we made this cute snow dog... He is a work of art. My daughter and one of my sons helped with the building of it. I make one every time we have a lot of snow..
Thank you for stopping by to comment,
Ann
Karen,
Snow days are always fun for the children and not so much for the mom...LOL
Ann
Steve,
Are you sure??
Ann
Ann, are you coming to the party tonight??
Mary,
Yes, I am actually starting a little early. Trying to warm up from kneeling in the snow a little too long. Where do I need to be??
Ann
Gabe,
Grits??? What the heck are those???
Thank you for stopping in to comment,
Ann
Toula,
I guess next time I could make him a sleepy snow dog or a lazy snow dog or ???
Always nice to hear from you,
ANn
Ann, I've never seen a snow dog! That is so cool!
Ann - That snow dog sure is cute! Almost looks like snoopy. Have fun playing in the snow.
Lara,
Thank you for stopping by to see the snow dog creation. He was fun to make.
Ann
April,
How funny you should mention Snoopy...we were trying to make it look like Snoopy but we were having trouble with the face...LOL Too cold.
Ann
WOW...somebody is really talented....It is too cold here to build a snow dog! Adorable!
Shawn
Shawn,
Why thank you... we had a lot of fun creating this one. How cold is it??
Ann
Ann great job on the snow dog, very creative. If you have to be in the snow, you might as well have fun.
George,
It was fun....
Thanks for your comment,
Ann
Ann - That is so cool, literally!
Robert,
It did take quite some time for my knees to thaw after we finished him.... BRRRR
ANn
Ann - I DO think he looks a bit like the Snoopy dog! Now, you need a dog house to build him on. ha ha ha!
Cold in Milwaukee.....
Hi Ann, Now I am officially jealous. I would LOVE to make a snow dog! This is my sun dog, in my backyard.
April,
We warmed up nicely today!!
Ann
Sandy,
Oh my...you have a pool in your backyard......and the awesome dog!
He must like the water. Mine does not.
The snow will probably be gone tomorrow...
Ann
I just love that Ann. We haven't had enough snow here to do that since ummm, 1973. I was hoping for some on Tuesday. The weatherman said the s word, but then he took it back and said only the north Georgia mountains have a chance for snow. Bummer.
Tammy,
Thank you! It was fun to build. We usually get one really big snow and this is one way to be creative with it. Here it is either the s word or the i word...I would take snow over ice any day!!
Stay warm,
Ann
Ann,
You are sooo clever. I love the how-to fotos. Now I am off to try it since the snow has melted tho I can only do a tea-cup poodle.
Ann, What a delightful and happy snow dog. Most people just do snowmen....not as creative as you. Have you kept pictures from previous years?
Don,
You will have to post the photos of the tea-cup poodle..;-)
Ann
Margaret,
I am not sure if I would be able to find them all.... some were way before digital..;-) I will see if I can find some more of them..
Ann
Ann - Is the snow melted yet? I can't wait for 30 degrees later today.... 40's by Saturday. Yee Ha!!
April,
No, it is still hanging around..in spots. We had a gorgeous day today!
Ann
Adorable snow dog Ann. If you have any dogs make sure he is not under that pile of snow!
-Peg
Peg,
My dog was running around enjoying the fun..
Ann
