Hi Anne,

No, not likely....;-)  We were hit pretty hard with the white stuff over 7 inches.

Stay warm and safe,

Ann

Funny.  I guess you aren't.  Better luck in a few months.

I have one of those in my backyard, too that looks like that.

Take care and stay warm.

Wow! And I thought it was cold here in northern CA when it was 39 this morning on the way to the gym. All that snow makes it look really cold there.

We have similar picture in our backyard. We won't be grilling but scraping ice out of our driveways and walk ways!

Posted by Ritu Desai (Samson Properties) 9 months ago

we had about 4 inches last night... but it got warm and turned to rain, so now we have a slushy foggy mess...

Ann, That's a great caption to go with your photo. I guess you are not going to be grilling tonight, Honey.

Vickie,

Actually, with the sun shining and the wind not howling, it is fairly nice out.  The snow is pretty tough to walk through....

Have a great day,

Ann

Ritu,

Yes, same here...shoveling and digging out.  I am going to get my sled out though.  I love playing in the snow.  Unfortunately, it is too dry to build snowmen with right now....maybe tomorrow.

Robert,

Awww..no snow for you.  Slush would work great for my Super Bowl Party drinks...;-)

Margaret,

Nope, probably not going to grill.  I will be too tired from shoveling and sledding..LOL

we will not be grilling either... first snow, now rain... 30 degress... I am dreaming of the tropics...

Posted by Rhode Island Real Estate -- Focus Professionals, Inc. 9 months ago

Oh come on, don't let a little snow stop you!  ha ha ha.  About a month ago I tried to DIG out my grill, it had so much frozen snow around it I couldn't do it!  When it thawed, I opened the top and the handle snapped off!  Teach me to grill all year round. LOL

Makes me happy to have a screened in porch.

You guys are really getting pounded with wintry stuff!  Cold here today, but yesterday it made it to 70....isn't that crazy?

Posted by Ann Allen ~ SRES ASP e-PRO REALTOR® ~ Birmingham Alabama Luxury Homes (Keller Williams Realty) 9 months ago

That's cute and being born and raised in the Midwest I would brush that snow off and grill anyway.

Posted by ROBERT A.SWETZ - Commercial Real Estate (Commercial Real Estate - www.VegasBuildingsForSale.com) 9 months ago

Ann we got some of that today also.  4" of snow, followed by hail, and then rain.  Driving conditions were not good at all.

Paul,

Dreaming of the tropics?  I love winter...;-)

April,

Awww....  That is a bummer.  I have been known to fire up the grill in the winter.  I thought the shot was funny though.

Ann

Hi Ann, although your picture is funny... honey can put on the boots and fire it up!! Maybe you could even roast a few marshmallows after dinner... LOL   !! :-)

Tammy,

Do you grill on your porch?  If the roof was high enough, I might consider something like that.

Ann

Posted by Ann Hayden, St. Louis, MO Real Estate~ SelectAnn.com for your real estate (Prudential Select Properties) 9 months ago

Ann,

The weather is always unpredictable here in the Midwest...  Especially in Missouri.  Our saying is if you don't like the weather just wait a little while and it will change...

Ann

Posted by Ann Hayden, St. Louis, MO Real Estate~ SelectAnn.com for your real estate (Prudential Select Properties) 9 months ago

Robert,

I would probably do that too...must be something about being from the Midwest...

Or possibly we are just crazy.

Ann

George,

I stayed home today....too much white stuff on the roads for me.  Of course, it is better than the ice we usually get..;-)

Stay warm and dry,

Ann

Mary,

For some reason, I think the same thing.  When I stepped outside to enjoy the snow...the grill just called to me to take its picture...

Ann

Posted by Ann Hayden, St. Louis, MO Real Estate~ SelectAnn.com for your real estate (Prudential Select Properties) 9 months ago

Haha Ann, are you sure it just called "take my picture!" ?? LOL !!!!!!   Are you sure it didn't say to you, "Hey I'm freezing out here, how about a little fire!!"  :-)

Posted by Mary Douglas, REALTOR ®, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado (United Country Ponderosa Realty) 9 months ago

Mary,

True story....LOL  Were you listening in on the conversation??

Hi Ann:

No grilling tonight!  Check the refridge and cupboards, or maybe the freezer for tonight!

Hi Ann, I love to see all the pictures of the snow. Have you made a snowman yet?  Ohhhhh, it looks so cold. Stay inside and stay warm!

You did a very good job of expressing with a photograph and great comments!

The freezer was outside...LOL
Ann

Sandy,

Working on the snowman tomorrow...  The snow was too fluffy to make a good snowman. It has to compact a little then it will work better.  I prefer to make animals out of the snow....

I will post pictures when we are done...

Thank you so much for the feature!  I love taking photos of my world and sharing them.  This one was so easy...

Ann,

If you did light the grill, that ice cap would soon go away - might put out the fire though. :)

Steve

Posted by Steve Hoffacker - Real Estate Sales & Marketing Consulting and Strategies (Hoffacker Associates LLC) 9 months ago

Steve,

I am sure the snow would melt and the fire would have gone out and I would still have been hungry!

SO we cooked inside...;-)

Hi Ann! You should bring your Bar-B-Que to the party !!! We might need it :-)

Posted by Mary Douglas, REALTOR ®, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado (United Country Ponderosa Realty) 9 months ago

Ann - We've been known to do a fair amount of grilling in the snow when we don't want to wait for Spring to get out there again. I just make sure I tip the lid on the BBQ now and then so it doesn't freeze closed - and allow for longer cooking time. :-)

Posted by American Pacific Mortgage- Karen Cooper, Oregon & California 9 months ago

Mary,

I guess I will have to dust it off and get some charcoal....

I have been known to grill in the winter too...  This shot made me laugh when I told my daughter what I was going to put for the title...

Ann

Ann,

If this winter keeps up much longer, i'll be digging the grill out and defying nature and common sense!
