Thanks to my manager, John Williams, today I had the opportunity to go to a Rams football game at the Edward Jones Dome. It was bitterly cold here in St. Louis making the walk from the parking garage to the game nearly unbearable. For a first time at the dome, it was a pretty good game. The dome was warm and the game was exciting. There were four interceptions and four turnovers. It was looking pretty promising.
But then in the fourth quarter, Isaac Bruce of the San Francisco 49'ers, managed to catch his history making 1000th pass. This, of course, would have been wonderful if he still played for the Rams. But as it turned out the Rams lost in final 4 minutes of the game.
Oh well, better luck next time Rams, we will keep cheering for you.

Ann...
It sounds like you had a great time, despite the cold! Merry Christmas to you!
Ann it is great to see a game in person, but my favorite spot is in front of my TV set where it is nice and warm.
I'll bet as cold as it was you were really glad to be in a warm domed stadium!
Richard,
It was a good time...
Merry Christmas to you too!
Ann
George,
Yes, I can understand that...and if they are losing you can do something else...;-)
Ann
Ann,
Yes, otherwise I might have not decided to go... BRRRRR
Merry Christmas,
Ann
Hi Miss Ann, Sounds like a great way to spend a day (if you could stay warm). Sounds fun. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your family. Take care and thanks for being such a dear friend here on Active Rain.
Ann - What fun, I am glad you got the opportunity to go!
The mark of a true fan -- staying a fan when the team loses, or in my case (Texas Aggies, San Diego Padres, San Diego Chargers, Oakland Athletics, Oakland Raiders) loses, and loses, and loses, and loses, and loses, and loses -- LOL.
Fortunately, I've been a Boston Celtics fan since 1980, so I do have a couple of championship years to celebrate.
Hey Sandy,
Thank you for being my friend! You are awesome!
Ann
April,
It was not bad... We did have a good time people watching.
Ann
Russel,
We used to win...when we had Warner. Too bad he does not play for the Rams anymore.
