Halloween does not have to be scary

Scarecrow by Ann HaydenAs Halloween approaches, it is good to note, it does not need to be scary.  At our Kid's Safety Day in Wildwood, our scarecrow was friendly and happy to help those needing pumpkins.  The whole day was gorgeous and well attended.

Next year we hope to have even more fun and more children in attendance.

So looks out next October.  The Prudential Select office in Wildwood Missouri will again have Kid's Safety Day.

Hi Ann! - Is that a real live scarecrow?  It's hard to tell.  Very cute!  KM

Right - scary is not the only option. Funny and pretty costumes are all pretty nice also.

Bob and Carolin,

You are correct.  Halloween can be much better without the scary...;-)

Hi Ann, How are you today?  You hanging in there? You're right - Halloween doesn't have to be scary! My teenagers are deciding if they are too old to go trick or treating -13 and 16.  We'll see.  Be safe and have fun.

I agree, I think the blood and guts is a bit much on Halloween. We always go to our church which puts on a festival and the kids get plenty of candy and mom and dad get a great tri tip dinner. Enjoy!

Sandy,

I am right there with you.  My daughter is 12 and not sure she wants to go.  I still go, so I do not understand.  I love trick or treating.  Gives me a chance to work on my people skills with strangers..
