Good info Ann, fortunately for me, I don't have to worry about my money in banks, as its all in real estate and the stock market :) I'm safe there right :)
Thanks for the info. I wonder if I'm the only one thinking I should make a withdraw and hide my money in a shoe box under the bed. You just never know what will happen these days.

Ann- This is a good site, and if I had any money left to worry about I would be using it LOL :) My poor 401K is just that.....poor poor poor :)
I sleep at nite and worry about those things later in the day. How can you even believe these rankings.
Thanks....very helpful. The question probably should be "who ISN'T worried about their money.
I heard that many stores are out of safes and gun safes this month, because so many people are taking the money out of the bank!
Im not any more. We have met with our FA and got this under control. I dont worry that much as it isnt a huge amount and Money isnt everything!
I clicked around and this is an interesting site. I don't worry about it too much. I did at first but I decided I would be better off focusing on building business.
Have a great day!
Hi Ann, I am certain there are oodles of people that are laying awake at night watching their money disappear before their eyes! Great post - people need this info!
Glen,
I would hope your money is safe in real estate but my crystal ball is broken. And the stock market is really taking a beating.....
Good luck to you!
Ann
Jared,
Hmm...I think taking some out might be prudent given the current climate of the financial markets. You never do know what is going to happen.
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
Kathy,
I hear you on the POOR account. I went to the grocery store yesterday and spent nearly $150 and I really did not get much, not even a cart full!
Have a great day in spite of the markets,
Ann
Eric,
I am not sure you should believe anything... Some of the ratings especially for mutual funds are paid for by the mutual fund companies. How accurate can those be??
I was simply throwing it out to the AR world in case it might help someone sleep better. We have no control over the markets as I am sure you are aware.
Thank you for stopping by,
Ann
Pat,
WOW! I had no idea stores were doing good business on the panic but then again the media is great at creating panic and then somewhere in section ZZ on page 22 of the newspaper there is a story about it not being as bad as they said on page one!
Go figure. Have a great day!
Ann
Laura,
Good for you. Worrying just gives you gray hair anyway and dark circles under your eyes.....
And you are correct money is not everything but I like having it much more than not having it! ;-)
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day,
Ann
Ann,
Worrying will stress you out and then what do you have? Not much fun!
I am glad you are focusing on building your business. There are people out there not afraid of the markets!
Keep up the good work!
Ann
Thanks Ann, that is something I had not heard of before.
Greg,
You are welcome.
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
Sandy,
Yes, I am sure you are correct. It is tough to see it disappear. But then if it is in the stock market, we never really had it....
Ann
I've never had to worry about my money in the banks because I never kept more than $100,000 in any one bank (now $250,000 under the bailout) so that everything I had there was insured by the FDIC. Stocks, bonds, munis, etc., were a different story, but I'm still nowhere near retirement, so I don't have to sell. Thus I'm in for the long term.
Russel,
I hope you are prepared just in case, as grandmother would have wanted you to be...;-)
