For those of you who missed the Forest Park Balloon Glow.... It was an enlightening experience!
Here are a few photos for you to enjoy. Unfortunately, balloons are constantly moving so they appear a little fuzzy.

After sitting in traffic for about 1 and 1/2 hours, we finally found a parking spot. Then we had to trek across the park to the field with the balloons. I could not believe how far away we managed to park. At least, the walk through the park was refreshing. Forest Park is a beautiful setting for a stroll on a gorgeous night. By this time, it was getting late. Yes, the parking situation took me by surprise. I did not expect the crowd of people. We arrived just in time to see two balloons deflated. Followed by the others within a 15 minute time period.
We enjoyed the glowing balloons but the overwhelming amount of trash was disheartening. Apparently, the trash had been over-flowing of some time. And then the people decided to throw their trash on the grounds. It was sad even though it was very dark.
I feel enlightened to have made it to this event prior to all the balloons loosing their "air".
We have many fun events here is St. Louis and surrounding areas. I try to let people know about them so they can attend. Stay tuned to my blog to know what is going on or sign on to SelectAnn.com.

I've seen a lot of hot air balloons, but never glowing ones. Thanks for the photos.
Hi Ann, I was hoping you would have some photos of the balloon glow......they are really nice!
Vickie,
I am happy to have "shown" the glowing ones to you.
Ann,
I wanted to take more photos but they took them all down too fast. Either that or I sat in the traffic too long.

Hi Ann,
I have never seen glowing balloons before! I am sure the long traffic wait was worth it!
April,
It was an awesome sight. I am glad we went.
Thanks for stopping by,
Ann
The glowing photos are pretty, even with the fuzz. It sounds like you had a nice evening.
