WHO Says There is NO Free Lunch?
Today November 11, 2009, Veteran's Day, Applebees Restaurants across the US are offering our military a free meal. Active duty U.S. military and veterans receive a free meal at Applebees Restaurants.
And this is not just for lunchtime, this free meal is for the whole day. All you have to do is show proof of service by wearing your uniform or bringing in a military ID.
Kudos to Applebees! What an awesome way to honor both past and present military people. Feel free to pass along this info.

Ann I just beat you to this by six minutes .......... LOL
I just found out about it this morning and thought that I should give Applebee's some free publicity, so I also did a blog on it :)
George,

Hi Ann, Wow, what a great way to honor our Veteran's. I hope alot of them were able to take advantage of their free lunch.
Sandy,
My dad and his buddies took advantage of the free lunch.

Hi Ann, I would have liked to have read all the Veterans Day posts and maybe even taken in a parade yesterday - but luckily, I had clients to show property -- so I am just catching up. I hope some Verterans were able to get a free lunch and I hope they all know how much we appreciate them. Thanks Ann!
I hope plenty of veterans took advantage! What a good idea in the spirit of Vet's day!
Mary,
Good for you! I think many did enjoy the free meal...
Ann
Renee,
It was a very nice gesture on their part and I was happy to give them some extra post time...
Thanks for reading,
Ann
