Trick or Treat on Main Street St. Charles MO

St. Charles, MOTrick or Treat on Main Street St. Charles MO

Friday October 30th, 2009

3 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Children 12 years and younger

Spend the afternoon trick or treating at select businesses in St. Charles, Missouri along historic Main Street in Olde Town.  I have attended this event for many years.  It is very much fun.  Some of the attendees dress up in awesome costumes as well as some of the business owners.

This event maintains a non-scary environment taking place during daylight hours.  Halloween does not have to be scary.  Halloween should be fun and safe...

Sounds like fun and definitely a great Localism post!  Clients in your area will appreciate knowing what activities there are in your community.

Ann,

I have never been to this event, not having any children at home makes it difficult to make one of these events.

Don,

I lived on Perry one block from Main for 11 years.  We never missed this event.  It was fun for all of us.  I dress up too.

It going to be a great event for the kids, and then they will go into a sugar surge.

Good luck and success.

I love your sentence, "Halloween should be fun and safe." Some of these Halloween displays I see simply are not appropriate for children. Maybe the display owners intent is to keep children away.

What a great idea, I love this type of thing. Kudos to the business owners!

Hi Ann, What a great way to be sure the young ones are safe on Halloween...trick or treating in the daylight to local businesses. What a great service to the community!

Russel,

Some of the displays keep me away...  I do not like to have the #### scared out of me!

Ann at Church we do a trunk or treat.  We circle the cars in a parking lot and they go trick or treating from trunk to trunk.
