Wildwood Missouri Summertime Fun in St. Louis Missouri
1) Visit the St. Louis Zoo. Spend a day with the animals of the world. You might find you have more in common than you thought. It is free and fabulous. You can even enjoy a train ride through the zoo with purchase of a ticket.
2) Check out the Anheuser Busch Inbev Brewery. Yes, the tours are still free and they are awesome.
3) Take a trip to the St. Louis Science Center. Spend the day learning in a fun and cool environment.
4) Get the kids and spend the day at Grant's Farm. Here you can learn some history of the area and enjoy a lovely tram ride. There is a parking fee but the ride is free. Don't forget to visit the Clydesdale's Stable at the other end of the parking lot.
5) Plan a trip to Purina Farms. Located approximately 30 west of downtown St. Louis in Gray Summit Missouri. Be sure to plan to stick around for the dog competition/show.
6) After your tour of the brewery be sure to check out Gus's Pretzels. These are the best in the area and they are famous.
7) Seeking thrills...visit Six Flags St. Louis. Grab a big six pass for only $36. Purchase your tickets online as Sixflags.com.
8) What visit to St. Louis would not be complete without a visit to The Gateway Arch. Be sure to take the ride to top. The view is exceptional. I have to warn you, the trams are small and the trip is one you will never forget....
9) Don't forget to take in a game in Busch Stadium or Baseball Heaven. The new staduim is gorgeous.
10) Learn about the explores who traveled west at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center in downtown St. Charles Missouri.
So if your house is feeling a little cramped this summer, Get those children out for some fun at these St. Louis attractions. Most are low or no cost. Take time to enjoy your summer before it is over.
