Yeah, I think he needs to grow a tad more!
I bet if some " Little guy " caught that ...he would be so excited and think it was a trophy fish...It is in the eye of the beholder LOL
Bridget,
Yes, he was small enough to be fish bait....
Ann
Small fish yes Ann, but tell us the story about the one that got away.
June,
Yes, I believe you are correct. This was the only fish caught that day. He was released unharmed to grow and be caught maybe another day.
Ann
ANN..Glad you threw it back in..haven t been fishing since i was I kid..too long..thanks
HelpfulHannah
Gary,
There is not a big fish story for this day.... This one was it.
By the way, I have never been very good at fish stories! ;-)
Ann
Helpful Hannah,
Get a fishing pole and some worms and go! It is fun and relaxing. I try to go several times a year. My daughter Hannah loves to go but hates to bait the hook..... She is however, learning to clean the fish we do catch...
Ann
I hope someone did throw it back!
I don't see how that doesn't hurt the fish. Catch and release a fish-how does one know how many times it has been put through that? Poor fish.
you would have needed a very small skillet for that little guy
Hi Ann, I hope that wasn't the catch of the day!! LOL!! You're right he needs to go back!
Ann, He would not make much of a meal. I guess this was his lucky day.
. . . and now we know where the old adage 'bigger fish to fry' came from . . .
Hi Ann: Is it time to go fishing again - where did I put my worms?
:)
Ann, I agree, it seems a little smallish to be a keeper!
Ann - That is what we would call bait... definitely a toss back...
Ann this one isn't a keeper, but I bet it was a lot of fun catching it.
He is a little small I would thow him back in
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Ann looks like a nice snack to me :) :)
This is about the size that I seem to catch ........ LOL
Please let me grow a bit longer, I would like to see children and grandchildren some day!!!
That little thing is not big enough for an appetizer much less din-din. Throw it back!!
Ann - That fish is a little small and the name of the fish is Walleye. The best eating Walleye is about 1-2 pounds.
Ann,
Let's have a fish fry after all it is a holiday week-end.
Connie Lou
Lisa,
Of course this little one was thrown back. He would have been a pain to clean...;-)
Ann
Angelia,
I am sure he was happy to be back in the water.
Ann
Diego,
Yes, very small indeed!
Ann
Mary,
He was the only thing caught except for the bug bites....
Ann(scratch, scratch)
Marchel,
Yes, he shall live to grow bigger...
Ann
Carla,
I would have liked a few bigger ones to fry....
Ann
Matt,
Yes, it is time to go fishing!!!
Ann
Tony and Darcy,
He was on the very small side...
Ann
Ryan,
I know it was tough to believe how small he was...
Ann
Michael.
Fishing is always a good time....
Ann
Charles,
Thank you for stopping by....
Ann
George,
You need to use better bait..;-)
Ann
Caron,
He will live to see another day....
Ann
Don,
He was too little to keep...no fish for din din.
Ann
VB,
Is that really a walleye? I thought it was maybe a little bass or perch.
Ann
Connie,
Sounds good to me... Will you bring the fish??
Ann
Ann - Livet to swim another day! One could say he was "Line Dancing", but that would not be too cool!
Lisa,
He might have been dancing...
Ann
Hey Ann, I hate to see fish when they first get pulled out of the water. I always want to throw them back in. Of course my husband doesn't want to though. They look so pathetic and sad.
Hi Sandy,
I agree but then again I like to eat fish and never waste it.
Ann
