Ann what a beautiful building.  The windows are gorgeous.  Are they stained glass all the way around?  What a wonderful piece of history.

Hi Ann! Do you know why the church was closed in 1924? After all it's still standing strong! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Ann, I love the stone work and the windows on the old rock church! Very interesting history, too.  I'm with Silvia, I wonder why it was closed in 1924?

Ann - A lot of history there and very spartan architecture.

Ann, Very nice photos ma'am and it is good to see that the outside has been well maintained.

What a lovely old church  -  and thanks for adding the history. Do you know why it closed in 1924? Why would that be? Is it just an historical site now?

Ann,

What a great looking church.  Kinda sad it has been closed for so many years.

Hi Ann, I love the character in this old church.  They don't build things today like they did in the past.

Silvia,

The bridge washed out and the people could not get to the church so they built a different one closer to town.

Ryan,

This church is south of Pacific off highway NN.  It is called Saint Patricks or the Rock Church.

Mary,

Believe it or not the road washed out so instead of replacing it, they built a new church.
