Westglen Woods Subdivision in Ballwin Missouri

Westglen Woods subdivision in beautiful Ballwin Missouri is situated south of Manchester Road/ Highway 100 east of New Ballwin Road or west of Reis Road.  Westglen Woods is close to many shopping centers and restaurants.  Just up the road is The Ballwin Plaza which houses Mi Lupita Mexican Restaurant for some authentic Mexican fare.  Or if you are in the mood for ice cream Maggie Moos is also in this shopping area of Ballwin not to mention a Joann's Craft Store, Office Max, Borders, Walgreen's and various other small shops.

On Manchester Road, one can find nearly everything you can imagine.  A little farther west and you will find Outback Steakhouse and a Shop and Save grocery store in addition to Schnuck's Market, Sear's Paint and Hardware, Quiznos Deli, and a Michaels Craft Store.

If you need to mail a package or buy some stamps the Ballwin Main Post Office is on the north side of Manchester Road with a cheery staff to help you with your needs.  East of the post office and New Ballwin Road visitors will find many car dealers, fast food restaurants and retail stores.  There is a Target and a Lowe's within a mile as well as Steak n Shake and Hobby Lobby. 

Westglen Woods has several Ballwin parks nearby including New Ballwin Park.  This park is 8 acres with a playground, pavilion and stocked pond for fishing giving the feel of a little bit of country in the bustling burbs.  Most of the homes in the subdivision are in the award winning Rockwood School District.  Be certain to check the address with the district since boundary lines can move.

Currently there are nine homes for sale in this lovelysubdivision in Ballwin Missouri ranging in price from $155,900 to $209,900.  Three homes in Westglen Woods are currently under contract.

Wildwood Missouri Summertime Fun in St. Louis Missouri

1) Visit the St. Louis Zoo.  Spend a day with the animals of the world.  You might find you have more in common than you thought.  It is free and fabulous.  You can even enjoy a train ride through the zoo with purchase of a ticket. 

2) Check out the Anheuser Busch Inbev Brewery.  Yes, the tours are still free and they are awesome.  

3)  Take a trip to the St. Louis Science Center.  Spend the day learning in a fun and cool environment.

4)  Get the kids and spend the day at Grant's Farm.  Here you can learn some history of the area and enjoy a lovely tram ride.  There is a parking fee but the ride is free.  Don't forget to visit the Clydesdale's Stable at the other end of the parking lot.

5)  Plan a trip to Purina Farms.  Located approximately 30 west of downtown St. Louis in Gray Summit Missouri.  Be sure to plan to stick around for the dog competition/show. 

6)  After your tour of the brewery be sure to check out Gus's Pretzels.  These are the best in the area and they are famous. 

7)  Seeking thrills...visit Six Flags St. Louis.  Grab a big six pass for only $36.  Purchase your tickets online as Sixflags.com. 

8)  What visit to St. Louis would not be complete without a visit to The Gateway Arch.  Be sure to take the ride to top.  The view is exceptional.  I have to warn you, the trams are small and the trip is one you will never forget....

9)  Don't forget to take in a game in Busch Stadium or Baseball Heaven.  The new staduim is gorgeous. 

10)  Learn about the explores who traveled west at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center in downtown St. Charles Missouri. 

So if your house is feeling a little cramped this summer, Get those children out for some fun at these St. Louis attractions.  Most are low or no cost.  Take time to enjoy your summer before it is over.

Westridge Oaks Subdivision Wildwood Missouri

This subdivision in Wildwood, Missouri is small by most standards consisting of just four streets.  Westridge Oaks Subdivision sits high atop the hill off Highway 109 in tree-lined Wildwood, Missouri.  It is less than a mile south of Highway 100/Manchester making it close to all of the Wildwood amenities.

From this location, one could easily walk to the new Wildwood Community College as well as the Wildwood YMCA.   The Wildwood Police Stationis also here atop the hill not to mention a few eating establishments, a dry cleaner, and a bank.  Just down the hill from Westridge Subdivision is the St. Louis County Metro West Fire Department. 

Wildwood, Missouri is a growing community.  The founders are constantly trying to draw new businesses to the area.  Shopping possibilities are abundant here is lovely Wildwood, Missouri with two major grocery stores Dierberg's and Schnuck's and many smaller shops, such as Wines of Wildwood and One Lucky Mutt.

South of Westridge Oaks Subdivisionon Highway 109 is one of my favorite parks/conservation areas, 'Rockwood's Reservations.  I have been going to this place for many years.  The grounds are gorgeous and walking trails are abundant.  ' is about 1800 acres of beauty in St. Louis County offering many opportunities to learn about nature and wildlife.  Also south of this Wildwood subdivision is Hidden Valley Ski Resort for you snow lovers and Six Flags St. Louis for you thrill seekers and entertainment buffs.

All homes in this Wildwood, Missouri subdivision are in the award winning Rockwood Missouri School District.

Currently there are two homes showing active in the MLS.  Both homes are 2 stories.  One is a five bedroom, four and one half bath with 2898 square feet for $359,900.  The other is a four bedroom with four and one half baths measuring approximately 2912 square feet for $369,900.  There is also one pending at $350,000 with 4 bedrooms and three and one half baths.  During the first six months of the year no homes have been sold in Westridge Oaks Subdivision according to the MLS.

New Ballwin Estates Subdivision in Ellisville Missouri is located south of Manchester Road/Highway 100 off New Ballwin Road in beautiful Ellisville Missouri. 

This subdivision is centrally located and near many shopping areas.  The Ballwin Plaza is just across Manchester less than 1/2 mile from the entrance to New Ballwin Estates Subdivision.  Here visitors can sit down to a great meal at Mi Lupita Mexican Restaurant, pick up a ham at the Honey Baked Ham Store or grab an ice cream at Maggie Moos.  If you need office supplies an Office Max is also in the Ballwin Plaza, as well as a Borders, Walgreens and Joann's Fabric and Craft Store.

Since January 2009,  two homes have sold in New Ballwin Estates Subdivision in Ellisville Missouri.  One was a ranch at 2098 square feet at a sale price of $275,000 and the other was a two story home at $287,900.  One ranch measuring approximately 1700 square feet is pending at $233,000 while another ranch with 2310 square feet is contingent with a kick out at $298,500.  One two story home is in the option stage with 1800 square feet at $270,000.

All homes in this Ellisville, Missouri subdivision are in the award winning Rockwood Missouri School District.   Woether  Elementary is just up the street on New Ballwin Road as well as Selvidge Middle School.
